About Haylie

Hello families! My name is Haylie and I am 32yrs old and a resident in Champaign. My experience in caring for seniors has not been a lot, but the short time I worked with seniors was life changing and so I decided to update my profile (I also am a nanny) and offer my services for seniors, too! In 2015, my grandma had a fall and needed around the clock care. Instead of hire a nurse to come be by her bedside, my family allowed me to be the one who cared for her. I spent 3 months living with her, helping her get dressed and helping her bathe. It was an extremely special time. After the 3 months, my family decided to move her into assisted living, but the role of caring for her had meant so much to me that I decided to also get a job at an assisted living home, right next to the one my grandma stayed in!
