I provide medication management, bathing, toileting, dressing, errands, shopping, meal prep, feeding, laundry, light housekeeping, assist with bill pay, and companionship-as well as any other daily routine needing assistance. I have been trained and have experience in Alzheimer's , Parkinson's dementia, hospice as well as general PCA. I believe in treating every individual with dignity, respect and compassion. Respect and patience is not only key, but a right. I am dependable, honest and hard working- I truly love my job of being able help someone either stay in their home or feel batter in a facility. Heather has taken care of my dear wife for the past 3.5 years, first, in our home, and most recently as a supplemental companion in residential memory care. My family and I cannot say enough good things about Heather's support, compassion, loyalty, dependability, patience, cheerfulness and absolute competence. She's had a gift for adapting to my wife's varying needs throughout progression of her disease, which is Alzheimer's dementia with Parkinsonism. It affects her cognitive thinking, mobility, and disposition differently, month-to-month / day-to-day. Heather expertly adapts to all of them - from companion care and mental stimulation during earlier stages, to meal prep, outings, meds, and hands-on personal care in the moderate to later stages. She has been a Godsend to us; like a member of our family. I cannot say enough good things about her. I'd highly recommend Heather to anyone looking for a special companion and private caregiver for themselves or their loved one.
