About Heather

Hello! My name is Heather and I am a stay at home mom to my 16-month-old son. I am seeking a position that allows me to stay within my home, but care for one additional child. I have a masters degree in Social Work and worked for several years as a foster care/adoption therapist. More recently, I spent two years as a nanny to three children. During this time I helped with virtual schooling and provided health care assistance for a child with diabetes. I am confident in my abilities to care for and keep children safe. My son and I enjoy a number of activities within our home such as reading, playing in our fenced in yard, swinging on the swing set, playing with an abundance of toys, going for walks, and enjoying the company of our 3-year-old puppy (who is wonderful with our son and people overall).
