About Heike

The past 11 years I have been mostly working with people who suffered from Dementia and I enjoyed caring for all of my seniors tremendously. The majority of seniors lived in their homes while I provided care for them. I was also a supportive companion for a client in an Assistant Living Facility. I have assisted seniors in the following tasks: shopping, cleaning, doing laundry, cooking, gardening, bathing, dressing, medication management and I have provided companion care. I have encouraged seniors to participate in the following activities: exercising, painting, knitting, singing, playing games, walking and I have accompanied seniors on outings they enjoyed. I believe strongly that it is very important to provide care which makes people feel secure and loved. My goal is to give my clients a sense of control and value which will improve their daily mood and lead to being content and happy. Family members and friends will also benefit from their loved one's improved well being.
