HNA and CNA certified by New York State. I have 9 years of experience working in various settings such as hospice care and in home care where I have worked with patients with Alzheimer's, dementia, ALS and Parkinson's diseases. Also, I provide companionship to the elderly, good and enjoyable conversations as well as good company. I am familiar and very comfortable with patients that have specialized diets due to my dietary experience in meal preparation. I assist with maintaining physical fitness to the best of the client's ability while encouraging and participating in activities as needed. Although not professionally trained, I am experienced in physical and occupational therapy exercises. I am also familiar with activities of daily living and maintaining good hygiene and personal care as well as medication management. I am patient, with a positive attitude, always in good spirits, pleasant to work with and I am highly motivated to assist clients live a high quality of life.
