About Ingrid

I have been working as a nanny for seven years. In addition to raising my own family, I am college educated and have trained as an EMT. I have had diverse life experiences and have tons of practical knowledge. Ideally, I enjoy caring for bright children who enjoy reading and learning. I strive to introduce them to the world and guide them to new experiences. I am not a fan of TV as a means of childcare. I particularly enjoy interacting with people of different religions and ethnicities--learning works both ways! My philosophy is that the parents and I need to work as a team. We all need to communicate about the children, the schedules, and our shared goals. If the parents and I share a common value system, the work flows and the children are the happy recipients.
