About Isabella

Hi, my name is Izzy! I am a full-time student double majoring in psychology and dance at Fordham Lincoln Center and Alvin Ailey. I have been babysitting since early high school and love working with kids. I have taught ballet to 7-year-olds and I have been a camp counselor over the summer for age groups 4-7 and 10-12 at an arts camp in Harlem. Planning activities, managing lunches, teaching dance, and delegating conflict were just some of the daily responsibilities I had. In addition, each week I and one other counselor would plan two new lessons on the Harlem Renaissance which included interactive games, dance parties, drawing/coloring, etc. When I was younger, I always wished that learning was more hands-on and so in this job I wanted to provide different facets of learning ie. visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and reading/writing. This was by far one of the most rewarding and fun jobs I have ever had!
