Hello! My name is Isabelle, I'm a rising Junior at UMD studying mechanical engineering with a minor in special education! I've been working with children of all ages since I was 15: nannying, ESL and STEM tutoring, summer camp counseling, special education aiding. I am home for the summer and am available all weekdays except from July 20-Aug 4, please let me know if you have any questions or would like to see my resume/references. I like working with kids because it's just so much fun! Children are both the best and most challenging employers- you really have to know their language to succeed. Once you do, it's so worth it! I'm looking for a comfortable and safe work environment that prioritizes strong communication. When working, I also really enjoy mini-adventures and activities, spending time outdoors and going to the park/other activities to bring variety into the summer (if allowed, of course). I'm not very good at sports or art, but I love to try them!
