Hello family! I am a positive, mature, and reliable student in Chapel Hill majoring in Human Development and Family Science. I am turning 22 in October and have my own transportation. I have experience caring for infants up to middle school aged children, and have had wonderful experiences with families of 1-4 kids, as well as experience working at a school caring for multiple grades at once. My approach to care is relationship-first and connection-centered. I strive to address the child's needs and provide a safe and warm environment, while addressing difficulties that may arise in a firm but loving manner. Isabel is simply wonderful! I have 4 children (ages 6,8,10 and 12). My kids love her. She knows how to manage multiple children well and keep the house in order. She has taken my children to parks and museums, helped me run errands, made meals for my kids, helped with homework sessions and even has house sit for us (although she prefers to work with kids than animals I think) You can expect that screens will NOT be turned on (the first time she came, she brought activities and her ukulele). She has Waldorf roots and thus is versed in nature, outdoor play, art, and music. I have had many sitters over the years. I've had instances where I come home to wired kids and a destroyed house and a frazzled sitter. But not with Isabel. With her, I come home to happy kids and the house in the same state I left it. She's the best!
