I'd describe my personality as caring, genuine, and silly. I think laughter is among the most potent medicines in life, and have always enjoyed bringing smiles & and a little extra joy into the room with my patients during difficult times. I like caring for seniors because of their rich abundance of knowledge. I love listening to their stories - about their lives, their adventures, and so much more. I'm looking for a private duty nursing role that helps me to support my small family as a nurse & single mom, and helps me connect with my community. In my spare time, I like to spend time at the skate park with my 4-year-old, or head to the mountains to hike or snowboard, depending on the season. :) My skills include nursing, wound care, medication management, diabetes & other chronic illness management, general health & wellness, nutrition, exercise, and personal care.
