About Izzy

Throughout high school, I taught after-school dance classes for children ages 5-12, often in larger groups. I also participated in my school's child development program as an assistant teacher. In addition, I assisted in a third grade classroom with some one-on-one tutoring at home. More recently, I was an assistant teacher nearly 30 hours a week in a preschool with mixed age groups (3-5). Through these experiences, I have created a valuable toolkit for working with children. Outside of those more structured settings, I have been babysitting since I was around 13 years old. I have looked after children of all ages, and I am very comfortable feeding, changing diapers, etc. The largest group of children I have babysat was 5. For the summer of 2014, I nannied an 8-month-old from 8-6 every week day.
