Starting around 14 years old, I was a childcare assistant at a family conference center each summer, working with various ages. I cared for various families part time, also with a variety of ages, off and on. At age 20, I worked for a kids gym in Van Nuys, CA, for a year, with children from 6 mos. to 7 years old. I also was a part time nanny for a family from the kids gym and travelled with them. In my early 30's, I briefly worked at a pre-school in Sherman Oaks, CA. Currently, I have cared for my niece and nephew and now I am a single mom. My daughter is in her toddler years, with the right part time fit, ideally would accompany me for now until she starts school. I recently took a first aid/CPR training course (fall 2023) while going back to college and received my certification.
