About Jael

Hello, my name is Jael! I am 20 years old and currently in my junior year of college. I started learning how to work with kids when I was 9 years old and my younger sister was born. This naturally placed a sense of responsibility in me even though I was still a kid myself. My grandmother also owned a daycare so I was often in environments catered to the care of children and learned how to do so through being immersed in it. One thing you should know about me is that I am an artist. I think this is a large part in the shaping of who I am as a person. Being an artist has helped develop a certain compassion, empathy, patience, and delicateness to most aspects of my life. It also keeps a child-like sense in me that I think makes a connection with children just a little easier on both ends creating an ease and open environment where kids can typically communicate with me openly.
