I started my nursing career in the 90s. working as a CNA in several long-term care facilities and then went back to get my LPN license. then, after marrying and having an autistic son, I quit work to focus on him. 7 years ago, I went back to caring for a couple of ladies in their homes until they both fell asleep in death. I enjoyed this immensely. I look forward to continuing this type of care. I have not kept up my licenses, but I remain up-to-date on basic nursing care. I'd describe my personality as kind, calm, caring I like caring for seniors because they cared for others when they could it's now our privilege to care for them My skills include assisting with adl's. transportation to appts. preparing basic meals. caring for animals. basic wound care. dispensing medication. tube feedings, colostomy care. etc.

Jaime is absolutely EVERYTHING that you could want and hope for in a caregiver! She cared for my Mom as she grew older and then a lot more “hands on” as her health declined and dementia rapidly taking over her mind. Jaime is honest, accountable, smart (nursing degree) and has a skill set caring for the elderly that totally sets her apart from all caregivers. She would take my mom to all of her doctor’s appointments communicating as necessary with the doctor and later giving me an update on the doctors thoughts, concerns and recommendations for my mother. Her kindness and sensitivity to my mom and her needs was always at the forefront of their relationship. My Mom always wanted Jaime above everybody else and quite honestly if it hadn’t been for Jaime, my Mom couldn’t have stayed in her home throughput her decline until her death. Jaime ran the household, paid bills, care for animals and whatever was required to keep things running smoothly. I still count my blessings every day that my Mom had this absolutely incredible women to care for her and step in to help manage her life and household as i was commuting back and forth from my home state of Virginia.
