About Jakayla

Hello, I'm JaKayla, a 22-year-old college student in my last semester. I have been CNA certified since 2020, which has equipped me with essential skills like the Heimlich maneuver, CPR, and first aid for individuals spanning from infants to adults. Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with over 10 families in the Greensboro and Concord areas. My passion for childcare began 7 years ago, and I have extensive experience working with children with complex needs, including autism, nonverbal communication, and wheelchair assistance. Childcare is more than just a job for me; it's a calling. I've worked as a Summer Camp Counselor and volunteered at local daycare and childcare facilities, gaining invaluable experience and honing my skills. I believe that my background in healthcare, combined with my extensive experience in childcare, uniquely positions me to provide not just physical care but also a warm and nurturing environment for children to thrive.
