Hello, my name is Jamie and I graduated from Saint Louis University in May of 2024. I have a Bachelors of Science in Nursing and am taking my boards exam mid July and will then be an official registered nurse. Throughout nursing school I have had lots of experience caring for patients of any age population, but specifically the older adult population. I absolutely love working with elderly individuals. I love to talk and get to know each person I get to assist during the day. I am looking for part-time care opportunities for the summer before starting my full-time nursing position in the Neuro ICU at Barnes at the end of August. I have a reliable car for transportation needs. I am a non-smoker and am CPR certified through the American Heart Association. I have work experience as a nurse extern (nursing internship) in an ICU at a hospital at home in WI. I also had a nursing assistant job at a nursing home.
