I am a second grade teacher who is licensed to teach pre-k through 5th grade. I tutored a 1st grader throughout college, and I currently tutor 2nd grade students in my district, 4 days a week. I have teaching experience in all subjects and tutoring experience in math and reading. During tutoring sessions, since it is essentially extra school, it is important to make that time fun and purposeful. Often when kids are behind in school, they may begin to hate/fear that subject. I will plan engaging, creative, and effective lessons for your kiddo that will instill a love of learning, again!
