About Jason

Hello there! I am Special Education Teacher and Tutor with 7 years of experience. I specialize in Elementary Math as well as Reading & Writing. I began my teaching career as a general education teacher where I taught grades 2 & 3. I have since shifted to the role of Resource Room Teacher for the last five years primarily in grades K-2, where I work in very small groups developing individualized learning plans from each student based on their needs. I will utilize the same professional and teacher made assessments to create/track data, show growth and find strengths/weaknesses. This will allow me to create an individualized learning plan for your child. In addition I have spent 8 months over the past 2 school years teaching virtually and I am very comfortable working in either setting. Whatever is best for you and your child.
