About Jaylin

Hi there! My name is Jaylin and I am based in Staten Island and in the NYC/NJ area. I am an educator, singer-songwriter, and child caregiver. Being Puerto Rican, I grew up speaking both English and Spanish (English being my predominant language). I am patient, kind, empathetic, fun, creative, attentive, and responsible while still having a quirky sense of humor. As the eldest in my family, I have always had a passion for child care. I have 8 years of experience both babysitting (ages 0 and up) and in the classroom setting including being an elementary school music teacher for children ages 4-12 with neurodivergence as well as working as an educator at the Staten Island Children's Museum. I am certified through the American Red Cross in Adult and Child First Aid/CPR/AED, I do not smoke, I own my own car and I have a NY-State driver's license. Besides children, I love music, movies and animals! I hope that you will consider me as a viable candidate to take care of your little ones. :)
