About Jaylynn

My name is Jaylynn and I have gained experience with childcare from my time as a Day Camp and Overnight counselor at a Summer Camp called Camp Haluwasa. Within this occupation, I was responsible for supervising groups of children in activities, lessons, and eating times. I was also responsible for overseeing the children's nighttime routines and getting them ready for bed. When there was downtime, I would teach the children lessons and develop and direct conversation about topics the children wanted to have. Additionally, I developed and maintained positive relationships with the children's parents where I gave daily reports of their children's' behavior, achievements, and needed improvements within a mental, emotional, and social aspect. I have also provided child care to a family with a 3-year-old daughter, interacting with her during playtime, providing meal preparation and potty training. I've thoroughly enjoyed the care and experiences that I still invest in today!
