About Jayne

I have had over 30 years of experience in the Child Care Profession, including having 2 of my own. After leaving college where I was trained as a Nursery Nurse in the United Kingdom, I was a live-in nanny for 4 years. I was married and then worked in a Nursery School for 6 years until I had my son. I then ran my own childcare in my home. When my kids were at school, I worked as a Nursery Nurse and moved on to be a Special Education Teacher. I worked in the same school for 17 years until we left the UK in 2004 for the States. My husband was in the Submarine Service for 22 years. After he retired, we moved to the US. I spent my time being with my children helping them to adjust volunteering at my daughter's school. When she went to Middle School, I thought it was my calling to be a nanny once again. I have been very blessed to have been asked to be a part of many families since then. I have worked with children ages 6 weeks up to 6 years. I can provide 9 references as well as my wonderful current family.
