About Jennifer

I like to say I am Bubbly, Nurturing, and Energetic. I am a good listener and try to understand and teach children. I do not like corporal punishment. I want a child to understand why what they did is wrong not just that it is wrong. I'm looking for a job that is consistent week to week. I started working with kids around 13-14 in my Swim club. I started babysitting at 15, then started swim lessons at 19. I like to create, I am working on a BFA at UD. I love to I bring these aspects into child care. I enjoy video games, though not excessively. I genuinely believe that games paired with learning strategies can help children navigate new circumstances and develop problem solving skills or encounter new words. Pairing this with out side or discovery learning time is great for a young child. My favorite game franchises are the Legend of Zelda and Persona series, with a close second being Minecraft and The Arkham Trilogy.
