Stepping back from my reporting to be stay at home mom beginning in 2016, I was looking forward to returning to the workforce when my son started Pre-k in 2020. That was the fall Covid prevented kids from going back full time so I now became a mom, teacher and caregiver to 3 kids who had no where to go. With things still up in the air the following year, I stayed home again caring for now 4 children before and after school and one 2-year-old two days a week. Now that the 2-year-old I watch is off to Pre-k, I'm hoping to share my love of being silly, singing, crafting, playing and caring for babies and kids with a family who could use the extra hands of a skilled mom and longtime child care giver.
