About Jessica

I am an educator by profession. I have an undergraduate degree in Education, minor in English, and a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. I've taught students of all ages and ability levels. I have experience in owning and operating my own home childcare business, and I was a stay-at-home mom to my children during the day while teaching English as a Second Language at night. I worked in Education for over 20 years until my parents' suffered debilitating medical emergencies simultaneously. I took time off from teaching to care for them temporarily. However, their on-going health issues required more and more time, and I was their primary caregiver for eight years before they required more help than I was able to provide alone. I'm a caregiver by nature. I'm a nurturer who gains personal satisfaction and enjoyment in caring for the vulnerable. I hope to be of service to you and your loved ones.
