About Jessica

I have tutored Korean children and adults, a Moroccan child, Taiwanese children and adults, and Native American youth. I worked as a teacher of children ages 7-14 in Taiwan for two years (2010-2012). At Northern Arizona University, I taught college students from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, China, Japan, and Brazil (2013-2014). I also taught Qatari women in an intensive English program at the Community College of Qatar in Doha, Qatar (2014-2015). I have a B. A. in Applied Linguistics, a TESL (teaching English as a Second Language) certificate, and a Minor in Japanese from Portland State University (June, 2010). I also have a M. A. in TESOL from Northern Arizona University (May, 2014). I am willing to work with people of all ages and backgrounds in any skill area (reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar).
