About Jessica

I am a creative, energetic, and empathetic true child at heart, which makes childcare come naturally to me. I love singing, playing outside, drawing, painting, cooking, baking, and reading books. My experience ranges from swim coach of over 80 children, to full time nanny of 2 children under 3. I have experience with newborns as well as staying overnight. My other experience ranges from driving children to and from practices, special needs, and twins. I am passionate about childcare because kids are literally the future of our planet. I believe in setting a good example for the children, helping them understand big feelings, feeding them nutritious foods, playing, and getting close with nature. A Bachelor's in Animal Science from North Carolina State University helps me to teach children about science, nature, and animals. I also have a passion for drawing and art, and one of my favorite things to do with children is create art and I love to come up with lesson plans!
