About Jessica

Hello, I'm Jess and I am in my early 30s. I have a passion and love for working with young children. I believe children learn through play and every day activities can be made into an educational, fun experience for them. I have a BA in Child & Adolescent Development from Sacramento State and I am CPR/First Aid certified. I have experience with newborns to teens and everything in between and I am comfortable caring for up to three children at a time. I have studied ASL and encourage young children to use signing as a way to communicate their needs and feelings. I am creative, organized and have many well planned out lesson plans just waiting to be explored with your little ones. I am comfortable with doing housework and making meals and believe that children, even very young are very capable and should be involved in these daily tasks which helps develop independence and a sense of self worth. I will always bring my own age appropriate activities including arts & crafts and books.
