About Jessica

I have a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education and with that I am certified to teach from birth to third grade. I am currently working at an elementary school with the autism children who are in kindergarten. I have learned that the best way to teach a toddler is simply playing with them. I'd describe my personality as kind, outgoing and gentle. I like working with kids because it gives me opportunities for creativity. I'm looking for a job that gives me the opportunity to support children and their families. I started working with kids at age 10. In my spare time, I like to knit, play games, read, take walks and journaling, One thing you should know about me is that I am under the autism spectrum so it gives me a hard time to understand jokes, reading the room and not thinking before I speak. Therefore, working as a babysitter can give me a good opportunity to work on that. My skills include routine, organizing and following the rules.
