I learned from a young age how to care for children, educate, cook, partake in various activities including arts and sports, and be dependable, safe, and responsible. I always create a positive and fun environment which promotes personal and educational growth for all children that are in my care. My Qualities & Characteristics Include: -Adaptable to different household environments. -Knowledge of infant and children's nutrition, safety, behavior and daily routine(s). -Ability to multitask: Can successfully manage with more than one child at a time. -Energetic, passionate, very sensitive regarding others' needs and friendly and genuine towards children. -Mature, caring and nurturing, responsible and dependable, honest and loyal, punctual, trustworthy -Partial certification in Elementary Education My Responsibilities have Included: -Watched and looked after all the children's activities when the parents were away. -Established positive relationship with the children by designing creative games and activities to create a positive and fun environment for children to grow on a personal and educational level. -Prepared meals in the absence of parents and ensured that the children ate on time as per their daily routine. -Made sure that the children enjoyed their day by taking them out for walks and to parks; kept a close eye on their activities. -Maintained a healthy and safe environment for the children and made sure that only permitted people came to visit the children. -Always encourage a fun and positive learning environment with activities, puzzles, games and other pastimes. -Escorted children to and from school and various activities. -Supervised and assisted with homework and/or extra curricular activities. -Prepared snacks and meals -Prepared children for naps and their bedtime routine(s).
