About Jillian

Hello! My name is Jillian and I would love to work with your family. I bring with me over six years of experience and an adolescence of growing up in a daycare run by my family. I have worked as a full time nanny, an arts class instructor, a creative writing class apprentice, and most recently a lead preschool teacher. Passionately creative, I bring my love for the arts and creation into all my work with kids. I believe in the celebration of difference and teaching kindness through patience and exploration. In the different environments I have been part of, I have had the privilege to work with many different families and children. In each experience, I worked to foster a safe and loving environment, and have worked closely with guardians to ensure I carefully followed instructions regarding schedules, chores, discipline, and free time. I also have experience working with children with different needs, exercising skills in patience, attention to detail, and de-escalation.
