I am going into my 4th clinical rotation and have a wide variety of experience with children of all ages (birth-teen) as well as adults and older adults. I've cared for a variety of medical complexities treating language, cognition, feeding & swallowing, and so on. I am CPR/BLS certified. In my free time I am studying, hanging out with my friends or cat, cleaning my apartment, out shopping or at a coffee shop. I'm a safe driver, reliable, caring, clean, and fun! Joan has a wonderful warm, gentle energy. She bonded quickly with my seven year old and helped him to find activities without appearing as an authority. He was upset when she had to leave and was asking for her to come back. She was also patient with my seven month old who had never interacted with a sitter. She also interacted nicely with my high energy dog.
