Hi parents! My name is Joanna. I am 24 years old and have 6 years of experience in babysitting, nannying, and working in daycares. My preferred age range is 1-4 years old, though I am also open to working with infants 3 months old and up. I absolutely love working with kids and can also assist with travel to and from school. I am currently studying illustration and sculpting, and I love art. Engaging children through arts and crafts is something I take pride in. I am available on Mondays and Fridays, and I am flexible with the timing on those days; we can discuss what works best. I speak some Spanish and play the ukulele. I own my own car, do not smoke or drink, and am fully vaccinated. I enjoy doing various activities with kids, such as taking them outdoors for physical activity or to places like the museum or Legoland. I am also a pet lover, so having pets would not be a problem. Joanna has been wonderful taking care of our toddler and now our infant for the past 9 months. With our toddler she would take her to playgrounds, the library, neighborhood classes, read to her, and made tons of arts and crafts projects. She is herself very good at and studies art, which shows through the activities she would come up with for our toddler. She was very engaging with her which I highly appreciated. She has now transitioned to taking care of our infant son, which she clearly quickly grew very fond of. She transitioned to infant care with no problem and is very open to changing small aspects of his care as we developed his routines when I went back to work. She is very easy to communicate with and has been flexible with scheduling when needed. It is clear she genuinely loves taking care of and spending time with children. Overall, we feel lucky she has been part of our children's care!
