About Joanne

Hello my name is Joni, and taking care of infants is my calling. Your baby deserves the best care to allow you to focus on your career! I am a recently retired registered nurse. My nursing career has been wonderfully fulfilling and included working in a variety of settings including labor and delivery, weight management, and hospice. I am also a MN licensed teacher, with my most recent experience being a kindergarten class teacher at a local charter school. I have also taught ECFE as a parent educator. I think my skills and temperament are perfectly suited for caring for infants and toddlers. I believe it is vastly important to create a secure and loving bond with children while utilizing age-appropriate educational tools. Reading books together, listening to music, and exploring the outside world (even if it is just the backyard) are all key components of a well rounded day with your child. You have the added security of both my nursing and personal childrearing experience.
