About Joan

I have 4 children and 9 grandchildren that I have taken care of for the last 30 years. I was president of 2 elementary PTA organizations. When my children were small, I taught Sunday school. I led a girl scout troop and helped the cub and boy scout troops. I also helped in many sports activities, swim meets and little league. Recently I cared for a 11-year-old girl for 3 years, picking her up from school, helping her with her studies and transporting her to her many activities. I also have taken care of her 18-month-old brother when I was needed. I love children and have been surrounded by children all my life. I am very young at heart and extremely active. I worked in a hospital setting for 20 years in every department from maternity, nursery, emergency to coronary care units. I have owned a business, traveled the world, enjoyed the joys of family. I am dependable, trustworthy and know the importance of education. Thank you.
