My name is Joann, I am 43 years old trying to start my own business with a more flexible schedule. I ran a daycare in my home license through the state for 6 years. Worked for Easter Seals for 3 years with special needs. I took care of my Grandma and Dad for years with many health conditions( Alzheimer's disease) I'm loving life and helping others have extra time to enjoy life too. I have 2 children of my own 23 and 20 and 3 fur babies at home with a wonderful supportive boyfriend. Joan is very sweet and detailed with her work. She wasn't as fast as previous cleaners, but she was very trustworthy and took great care in her work. Unfortunately for us, when COVID hit we elected to keep her safe by paying her for several months as if she were returning biweekly as usual, even though she was not cleaning but was rather staying away to be safe. During these paid months off she took on new work during our timeslot, though, so after a single cleaning at a slightly higher rate she'd requested (& after collecting the back pay we had saved up to help retain her), she reached out and explained she was too busy to continue helping us. She is a very sweet lady and COVID hardship has been hard on us all.
