Hi! Let's get to it, I started caregiving at 19 by applying to a job as a PCA and didn't know what it was. I fell in love with caretaking and helping people. While the work is tiring, I did step back from it in my early 20's and took a break. I got my LNA in 2022 and worked for the nursing home in Strafford county until I left in 2023 to take care of infants! While I'm nursing homes I did get professional and hands on training with dementia and Alzheimer's care. I believe our loved ones should have people around them who also want to treat them how their loved ones would want them to be treated. Kindness, respect and dignity.
