About Jodi

My experience working with children began while growing up in a home where my mother ran an in-home child care service. I began teaching preschool dance classes at age 14. I have become a dance, drama, and tumble instructor and through this experience have taught hundreds of boys and girls in classes and camps over 20 years. I also enjoy babysitting for families on the weekends, hosting birthday parties, and of course loving and raising my own two children. I have a fun and loving disposition. I am very creative with crafts and incorporating the arts into play. I believe the outside play time is essential for children living a healthy, happy lifestyle. And I never accept: "I'm bored". That means that we need to find something new to do right away, whether that means building a fort, having a scavenger hunt, creating artwork for mom or dad, or having a mad scientist experiment, walking to a creek or playground, or going biking or swimming.
