About Jordan

Hi there, I'm Jordan! I've spent a significant part of my life exploring my passion for nurturing the healthy development of children. My formal childcare experience includes working as a preschool teacher, where I taught and cared for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Family, Youth, and Community Sciences from UF. I am also CPR and first aid certified for both infants and adults. The next stage for my professional development is to become a certified Parent Coach. I believe that working as a nanny would provide me with an opportunity to practice my growing knowledge of Attachment Science and co-regulation strategies in support of young children and their parents. Since I am not a parent yet myself, I also believe being engaged in full-time childcare would give me a better understanding of what parents experience on a daily basis.
