About Jordan

I currently work as a 4th grade Special Education ICT Teacher at Riverhead Central School District. I previously had the pleasure of working as a 2nd grade Special Education ICT Teacher at P. S 110 The Theodore Schoenfeld School in Bronx, New York. I have been working with students with disabilities of all varieties including but not limited to ADD/ADHD, Schizophrenia, Asperger's Syndrome, Learning Disabilities, Muscular Dystrophy, Autism, Non-Verbal and Non-Compliant behavior. My skills in differentiated instruction and multi-sensory lesson planning allow me to create a safe classroom environment in which students individualized needs are met. My experiences have taught me patience and that every student deserves an education that will be the most beneficial to them. Whether working on academic, extracurricular, or professional projects, I am proven to be proficient in multitasking, leadership, and problem-solving skills, which I hope to implement in any tutoring role.
