About Jordyn

Hello! I'm Jordyn, but I prefer to go by Jay. I have 4 years of childcare experience; I started as a float, going from classroom to classroom and gaining experience in all age groups, before settling down in the grade school room for before & after school care. During school hours, I was an assistant teacher for the center's free preschool program & helped prepare the children for Kindergarten. I left the center in March of 2020 & took on a nannying position for the remainder of the virtual school year & summer break. Afterwards, I took a break from working in childcare, but have recently decided to dip my toes back into the profession. I would love to babysit when needed, or provide after-school care! In my spare time, I like to embroider & sew stuffed animals! I run a small side business selling them at a local shop (S&J's Unique Boutique) and vending at the occasional craft show. I find it to be very relaxing on a day off (:
