About Joseph

As a graduate of Germantown Academy, I have continued my academic career at Penn State University where I am currently taking classes in pursuit of a Bachelor Science in Computer Science with a minor in History. I have informally tutored my younger siblings (I am the oldest of 4 children) since my high school years and have tutored in a more formal setting at both GA and Penn State through extracurricular clubs and as a tutor in the writing center at Penn State Main Campus. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the writing center and pride myself on helping peers excel at creating strong essays with robust thesis, topic, and transition sentences. I also took Spanish for 5 years in middle-high school, and continued my second-language learning throughout college. I have matriculated 16 credits worth of advanced Spanish and am quite close to being fluent. I truly enjoy teaching and learning Spanish and have a great understanding of it phonetically, culturally, and grammatically.
