My name is Josephine/Jojo. Caring for the elderly has been a great experience. I have been a caregiver/ CNA for 20 years. I worked in facilities for 8 years and decided to move on to full-time home care. I took care of many elderly with conditions such as Alzheimer, early dementia, diabetes, Parkinson, cancer, ALS, and more. My duties were dressing, transferring from bed to wheelchair, showers/baths, hair and mouth care, feeding, meal prep, laundry, light housekeeping, errands, and more. My first in home care lasted for 9 years. He had diabetes. I did his laundry, showers, and all personal care. I remember caring for a wonderful lady who had Alzheimer. She had a great sense of humor. I cannot say enough positive things about Josephine, the care provider who took care of my mom. From the moment she walked through the door, she exuded professionalism, compassion, and genuine care for my mom's well-being.
