Relevant education and experience: Ph. D. in economics, B. S. in math. 5 semesters of part-time math tutor experience for undergraduates of all skill levels. 6 semesters of part-time grad teaching assistant experience for undergraduate math-intensive economics courses. I have passed the math MTEL, now hold a Provisional License to teach math at the high-school level, and have remotely scored PARCC Algebra questions. What I can offer: Tutoring in math subjects at the high school and college levels: geometry, algebra, precalculus, probability and statistics, calculus, linear algebra, etc. Help with homework and exam prep. Ability to find tools and methods that can help students approach and solve problems analytically. I enjoy seeing students build confidence and want to see students succeed where they might have otherwise struggled.
