About Josie

Hi, I started doing home care in the late 90s. I've worked in hospital, nursing homes, privately, and presently for an agency in Putnam Valley. I have always enjoyed this type of work, because I know how difficult it is for people to have their loved ones at home. It's a difficult decision to keep them at home, or to put in a nursing home. I enjoy going into these homes and meeting the seniors and learning so much from them. They have so much experience, wisdom, and interesting stories to talk about. When I go into a home, I like to learn how things are done for that particular senior. The more I can do things the way they are accustomed to, the more comfortable they are being at home with someone that isn't a relative.
