About Joslyn

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, respectful, and responsible. I enjoy working with kids because every day provides an opportunity to teach them useful skills and life lessons. I get the privilege to positively influence their social, emotional, and cognitive development! I'm looking for a job that's consistent! Hopefully one that's 5 days a week becoming a full time babysitter. I'm looking to build long lasting relationships with not only the kids but also the parents. I started working with kids when I was 14 years old. One thing you should know about me is when I have a passion for something, that passion sticks; and caring for kids/building relationships with them is one of them. My respect goes both ways, as it should. My skills include strong communication, patience, and decision making. I will always explain why we do or don't do certain things if upset. I think it's important to acknowledge a child's feelings because they can't always communicate them.
