Hello, I'm Jourdan! I am an Animal Biologist with over 17 yrs experience in child care and 14 yrs in pet care. I believe in and practice positive reinforcement for both children and animals. Working as a nanny/babysitter for over 10 yrs, I have cared for kids from 4 mo. old - 16 yrs. I have over 5 yrs experience as a swim instructor/lifeguard, and I am efficient in stressful and emergent situations. I have tutored school-aged kids and feel confident in my ability to teach and assist in schoolwork. I love helping kids learn and excel through all aspects of their lives. I love to read, be active, play outdoors, get crafty, dance, sing, play games, and join kids in doing the things they love. As an animal caregiver, I have worked with dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, fish, and rodents. Jourdan is amazing. She nannied for our 3 month old son when I went back to work. As a first time mom it was a relief to know that our son was being taken care of and loved. She was always punctual and very communicative. She also gave our cats who were a bit lost in the new family dynamic attention. I could not have gone back to work without her. Forever grateful to her! She has also cat watched for us when we've gone on family trips. No one is more reliable or caring.
