About Joy

Hi there, my name is Joy and I am an energetic and fun 21-year-old. I recently graduated from the University of Vermont, where I completed a major in Secondary Education: English and a minor in Special Education. Over the past three years, I have gained experience working as a summer camp counselor, interning and working at a local teen center, tutoring high school students, and through teaching internships at multiple grade levels. I recently moved to the area, and will be teaching English at a nearby middle school. I am looking for a part-time position, and my rates start at $20/hour for one child. Due to the time restrictions that come from teaching, I am free to babysit on the weekends and in the late afternoons/evenings during the week. My focus is to provide your child with a safe, creative, and fun space to learn and grow. I love doing seasonal crafts, baking, pretend play, games, and can help with any schoolwork.
