About Joy

I'd describe my personality as fun, outgoing and personable! I like working with kids because it gives you the opportunity to see the growth in things you teach them and they are so unapologetically themselves! I'm looking for a job that I can watch them from my own home as I do work Monday through Friday 10-7 but it's from home and not on phones so my attention is still on the child! I started working with kids when I was about 19 years old I started out as an aftercare teacher for 4th grader for a school year, switched to kindergarten and then eventually left that school and started teaching preschool for ages 1-3! In my spare time, I like to play video games or do arts and crafts and spend time with my dogs! One thing you should know about me is I love to laugh will definitely make some jokes haha! My skills include creating lesson plans, providing sensory enhanced activities and de-escalating big emotions.
