About Julia

Hello! I'm Julia, and I have extensive experience caring for children from infancy through elementary school. In addition to being CPR trained, I have a master's degree and work as a civil engineer during the day. I'm passionate about the environment and science, and I love sharing this interest with children of all ages to inspire curiosity and a love of learning. I take a care approach rooted in the principles of Dr. Becky Kennedy and interpersonal psychology, focusing on emotional connection, empathy, and understanding. With a background in teaching both children and adults, I'm able to connect with children of all ages and foster a nurturing, supportive environment. One of my favorite hobbies is baking and cooking, and I enjoy involving little ones in the process. I also have experience preparing meals for those with allergies and dietary restrictions, ensuring every child's needs are met.
