About Julie

I meet students where they are at to help them achieve their goals. I am a certified English Language Arts teacher with a range of K-12 experience. I taught at Valor Middle School in Woodburn, OR, completed student teaching at Wilsonville HS, and substitute for Portland Public Schools. Since 2008, I have been teaching violin and viola with private lessons, and freelance on viola in the Portland area. Developing positive, supportive relationships with students is one of my top priorities. The better I know my students, the better I can serve them.
